Return and Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your MartFame purchase of a product you have 20 days to send an email for requesting and exchange or refund.

Purchase Conditions
When buying an item, you agree to comply with the rules for buyers and that:
• you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a bid or commitment to buy;
• you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item, or if you have the winning bid (or your bid is otherwise accepted);
• for motor vehicles and real estate (property) listed in the Classified Ad format, a bid or offer is not binding, but expresses a buyer's serious interest in the item;
• if you purchase an item on a MartFame site you are subject to the User Agreement of that other MartFame site solely with respect to that particular purchase.
Buyer requested cancellations
Buyers can request to cancel an order on MartFame within one hour of their purchase and the seller will have 3 days to accept or decline the request. If the seller declines the cancellation request, or already posted the order, buyers will need to wait until they receive the item and then decide if they want to start a return. Sellers can also cancel orders in certain circumstances up to 20 days after the sale.
Buyer requested returns
Buyers can submit a return request for items purchased on MartFame. For returns that are eligible for MartFame Money Back Guarantee, please see the policy for details. If the return is not covered by MartFame Money Back Guarantee, buyers can still request the return and the seller has the right to accept or decline the request in accordance with their return policy as stated in the original listing.

Please note that MartFame does not permit the return of or offer refunds for the following products:

  • MartFame Website Templates and Newsletter Templates
  • Product that is custom configured to your specifications, including personalized products
  • Opened software (Note that you may return software after rejecting the licensing terms, provided the software is not installed on a computer. However, if your software includes a license that you can read before you break the seal or sticker on the software media packaging, you may not return the software once you break the software media packaging seal or sticker).
  • Software Up to Date Program Products (i.e., software upgrade subscription product)

NOTE: MartFame recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package for safe return to MartFame or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking or (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

Other Terms and Conditions

  • MartFame is not responsible for typographical errors. MartFame reserves the right to cancel any order you have placed if there was a typographical error on the MartFame Store concerning the pricing or availability of any item you ordered when you placed the order.
  • MartFame reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of sale at the MartFame Store at any time.
  • MartFame may make changes to any products or services offered at the MartFame Store, or to the applicable prices for any such products or services, at any time, without notice. The information provided at the MartFame Store with respect to products and services may be out of date, and MartFame makes no commitment to update the information provided at the MartFame Store with respect to such products and services.
  • MartFame reserves the right to do any of the following, at any time, without notice: (1) to modify, suspend or terminate operation of or access to the MartFame Store, or to any portion of the MartFame Store, for any reason; (2) to modify or change the MartFame Store, or any portion of the MartFame Store, and any applicable policies or terms; and (3) to interrupt the operation of the MartFame Store, or any portion of the MartFame Store, as necessary to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, error correction, or other changes.
  • To the extent permitted by law, all sales at the MartFame Store are governed by International law, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.
  • No MartFame employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the MartFame Store's policies or the terms and conditions governing any sale.
  • If any of the aforementioned policies are held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be void or unenforceable, such policy shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and replaced with a valid provision that best embodies the intent of the policy, so that the policies shall remain in full force and effect.
  • MartFame’s failure to insist on or enforce strict performance of these policies shall not be construed as a waiver by MartFame of any provision or any right it has to enforce these policies, nor shall any course of conduct between MartFame and you or any other party be deemed to modify any provision of these policies.
  • These policies shall not be interpreted or construed to confer any rights or remedies on any third parties.
  • The MartFame Store provides access to MartFame international data and, therefore, may contain references or cross references to MartFame products, programs and services that are not announced in your country. Such reference does not imply that MartFame in your country intends to announce such products, programs or services.

International buying, selling and translation
Many of our Services are accessible internationally. We may offer certain programs, tools, and site experiences of particular interest to international sellers and buyers, such as estimated local currency conversion and international shipping calculation tools. Sellers and buyers are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to the international sale, purchase, and shipment of items.

Your items may be listed on one or more of MartFame's international sites in addition to MartFame.NG. You may stop your listings from appearing on international sites by excluding international postage locations from your listings. By selecting international postage you authorise MartFame, in its discretion, to display your listings on MartFame sites other than the original listing site but acknowledge that your listings may not appear on some or all of these sites.

When you sell your items internationally or purchase an item on MartFame site that is different from your registration site, you are subject to the User Agreement and applicable policies of that other MartFame site with respect to that particular purchase, as detailed in the International Selling Policy.

For sellers, you agree that we may display your listing for sale on any MartFame site other than the site where you listed your item for sale, based on your shipping settings. You may adjust these settings as detailed in the International Selling Policy. If you list your items with an international shipping option, the appearance of your listings on sites other than the listing site is not guaranteed. If you sell an item on any MartFame site that is different from your registration site, you are subject to the User Agreement and applicable policies, including any buyer protection programs, of that other MartFame site with respect to that particular sale, as detailed in the International Selling Policy.

You authorise us to use automated tools to translate your MartFame content and member to member communications, in whole or in part, into local languages where such translation solutions are available. We may provide you with tools which will enable you to translate content at your request. The accuracy or availability of any translation is not guaranteed.
